Quick Weight Loss: Tips For Success
It really is easier to gain weight then to lose it. It seems to sneak up on you. One day your clothes don’t fit and you wonder what happened. Then you start looking for diets for quick weight loss. You drop a few pounds and then gain it all back. Why is this?
We gain weight because we have learned bad eating habits for one. Fast food, processed foods. It is too easy to swing by the drive-thru and grab a quick bite in the morning rather then spend a few minutes preparing a wholesome breakfast. Not thinking about what calories we have just eaten.
Stress
We eat when we’re stressed or depressed. Comfort foods are a way of life. You start out eating a few potato chips and before you know it, the whole bag is nearly gone. Then you eat because you feel guilty about eating. A vicious cycle it is, and one that can be broken!
Put The Diet On A Diet!
Start from the beginning, and most diets for quick weight loss wont let you in on this little secret either. Breakfast. You must eat a wholesome breakfast to get your metabolism going. This is your furnace, and you need to fuel it up to get it burning the fuel, which is fat! An all fruit breakfast is an excellent way to get going in the morning.
Portions
Keep your portions small, and here’s another secret: if you eat breakfast at seven, plan on a little snack between nine and ten. This will keep that furnace going. I prepare small one ounce portions of boneless, skinless chicken I have cooked the night before, along with one ounce of green beans. Getting the idea? You are eating real food, but how you prepare it is as important as how much you eat. Have a heavier lunch and another snack two to three hours after that. A few grapes, slices of apple or orange, carrot sticks, anything with some fiber to fill you up.
Water
We can mistake thirst for hunger, so this is another reason to drink plenty of water throughout the day. The body needs to stay hydrated and also to keep the bowels regulated. All diets for quick weight loss should include plenty of water.
Exercise
Getting moderate exercise every day and some aerobics at least twice per week will also speed up the metabolism, and when you start eating right, you will start feeling good and have the energy to want to get active!
By making simple changes to the diet, drinking plenty of water, avoid diet pop too, as that is a way to gain weight, losing those pounds will be easier and you will be able to keep them off for good.
